Janet Moranda opened Lincoln Oaks Catering with the desire to serve you unique and quality dishes, provide courteous and responsive service. All of our dishes are chosen and cooked with care and experience to give you great taste and presentation. We understand events and the necessity of timeliness and attention to detail for the flow of your event . We coordinate with the other vendors behind the scenes so the event flows Our staff are  trained to create a truly memorable experience for you and your guests. 
Our goal is to have you enjoy your event and leave the work to us.
 
Today's  menu items have evolved, vowing to use the finest ingredients and prepare each dish with an infusion of passion and creativity. Guests rave about her food.  She enjoys working with fresh herbs, garlic, olive oils and a touch of her Italian & California Fresh influence.

Every event is unique and I promise to treat it as such. I will bring my experience in      catering, design andplanning events to your event. I want to bring you the best menu and the best tasting food that your budget allows. You and your guests deserve that.

A little about me: In the last seven years I have worked on over 300+ weddings, family reunions, company and private events. I ran a small Bed & Breakfast with a wedding venue. I have worked with other caterers and at the Clarion Hotel- food and beverage department. 
I have participated in and cooked for fundraisers, volunteered on the board of directors for PlacerGrown and Old Fruitvale School Hall. Prior to that I had my own promotional marketing company and was on the board of directors of Sacramento Valley American Marketing Association and co-coordinated their monthly meetings and events for 8 years. You might ask, how I went from marketing to catering? It is because I actually started in restaurant many moons ago then changed to sales & marketing then went back to what I love, food, cooking and catering. I have always loved to cook.  I would be honored to cater your event.

Wow, Summer of 2010 went by fast. A couple events had some special photos that I wanted to share. I spent several years on the board of PlacerGrown as we tried to incorporate AgTourism events into our local area. I met many of the hard working farmers that bring us such great produce, local meats & eggs. This one photo is from Blossom Hill Farms, Auburn. I was making a Watermelon Salad for two different local events and here is a great photo that shows farm fresh to you!  I had yellow, orange and red watermelon for this salad and fresh mint- don't want to give you all my secrets so the other ingredients aren't listed. You just had to be there.     

                                      
                                               

This photo below of the wedding cake with the airplanes in the background shows how this bride and groom personalized their wedding. Terry works at the airport, so having planes in the background was fun for them; Also saved them some on their budget by being creative with an unusual venue. Creating it to be a ceremony and reception area with the help of Wedding Possibilities of Granite Bay.                                          
                                                                     

The cake topper is a look alike of the bride and groom- down to the details of Iana's dress and the couples facial expressions, hair color and body types.  The wedding cake was created by Lincoln Oaks Catering, Cassy Rawnsley from a clipping from Iana's wedding planning binder.
